On surface this song is about a vampire trying to escape the daylight. But in fact it's about dark hearted people running away from popular culture, anti-social people going into isolation, and other usual Nightborn themes such as abandonement, death, questioning of life, despair, desperation, humanity's suicide and nocturnal revelations that surround the current world order's massive failures. The song has two different verses and two choruses. The chorus vocal ideas came to me one morning as I was lying half asleep. It is one of my favorite songs off the new album and it features several powerful melodies and some of my proudest guitar solos. Hope you enjoy it.
